Research Governance > Pathfinder Project - Development of a model Research Management System for trusts

A project, funded by the Research and Development Office, under the auspices of the Research Governance Working Group, has been established to explore the implications of the Research Governance Framework for Health & Social Care for a variety of stakeholders. Phase 1 of the Project, to pilot the design and development of a Research Management System, is being taken forward by the Royal Group of Hospitals Trust. Research management is the underpinning or enabling structure that will facilitate the introduction and ongoing practice of research governance.
