NI Minor Ailments Scheme

The Northern Ireland Minor Ailments Scheme was developed to enable clients who are exempt from prescription charges to obtain medicines, for a certain range of common conditions from their pharmacist, from the Health Service without the need to visit a GP surgery for a prescription. Repeat dispensing is the process by which patients can obtain supplies of their repeat medicines over a defined period of time from a pharmacy of their choice, without the need to contact their GP practice on each occasion a new supply is needed. Read More.....
