Regional Translation Contract

Since 01 April 2006, a new regional translation contract has come into effect. The contract is to ensure that all translations are carried out on the basis of an equal set of quality criteria.

Successful companies were evaluated objectively on criteria which included financial, quality, and technical aspects, as well as continuity of supply.

Unlike the Regional Interpreting Service, there will be no central office to organise a translation on behalf of an HPSS organisation.

The contract means that HPSS organisations can choose from a list of approved providers when they need a piece of work translated.
