Welcome to Northern Ireland! This booklet will tell you what you need to know about health and social care in Northern Ireland and how to access services; it will hopefully be of use to anyone who comes to live here, including ethnic minorities, migrant workers, refugees, asylum seekers and students.

The booklet introduces a range of health and social care professionals that you may come in contact with at some stage in your life. It also presents information about services outside normal working hours and in emergency situations and offers local contact information.
