Family Law


DLS is the leading practice in Northern Ireland in this area of law providing a comprehensive service to the H&SS client, including Child Care, Adoption, Mental Health, assistance with training and staff development.

Inter alia, DLS provides:-

  • A 24 hour duty service to give advice, assistance and representation for clients
  • Attendance at Child Protection case conferences and case discussions
  • Preparation and drafting of Court forms for all Court venues
  • Attendance at Family Proceedings Courts, Care Centres and High Court
  • Attendance at Mental Health Review Tribunals

    DLS representatives have been appointed to serve on the Children Order Advisory Committee, all Family Court Business Committees and the Children Order Inter Agency Forum.
