Northern Ireland Drug Tariff
The Drug Tariff is produced by the Central Services Agency on behalf of the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety. The Drug Tariff includes:
- Guidance on the dispensing of prescriptions
- Regulations concerning the dispensing of prescriptions
- Professional fee rates paid to contractors
- Reimbursement amount paid to contractors for dispensed drugs and appliances on Health Service prescriptions.
Prescription Code Book
The Prescription Code Book is produced by the Central Services Agency. It lists the prescription codes that should be used by contractors to code prescriptions, submitted to the Central Services Agency, for payment.
