Dental Branch provides a range of services on behalf of the Health & Social Services Boards and the Department of Health & Social Services and Public Safety, including the following-

monthly payments to dentists for Health Service treatment provided.

examination of patients at centres throughout Northern Ireland.

maintaining the Dental List.

The Dental List provides practice address and telephone details of all dentists in Northern Ireland who are registered to provide General Dental Services.

Dental Branch carries out its functions in accordance with the General Dental Services Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1993. Copies of the regulations are available from HMSO.
